Hair Restoration

Are you noticing a receding hairline or thinning of the hair?

Millions of people experience hair loss. Some people see their hair regrow without doing anything. Others need treatment for their hair to regrow. Sometimes, hair will not regrow.

The reasons for hair loss are many. When hair loss begins suddenly, the cause may be due to illness, diet, medicine or childbirth. If hair loss is gradual and becomes more noticeable with each passing year, a person may have hereditary hair loss. This is the most common cause of hair loss. It affects men and women. About 80 million people in the United States have hereditary thinning or baldness. Certain hair care practices also can cause noticeable hair loss. Refer to the graphic below for more information about hair loss statistics, causes and treatments.

Around the shaft of the hair, there are stem cells that are responsible for the formation of new hair. Adiposed derived stem cell proteins are capable of stimulating this dormant stem cell and promote new hair growth. The treatment takes 30 to 40 minutes, requires no analgesia and allows the patient to continue with his/her regular activities. A small pin roller is used during the treatment to “drive” those proteins into the dermis.

A total of six treatments a month apart are needed. Results start showing after the first treatment: less hair loss and thicker, healthier hair. After a few treatments new hair growth can be observed.
